Job Title: Data Migration Specialist

About the Role:

This position is responsible for planning and executing data migrations, ensuring seamless transitions of data between systems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience with data integration tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Migration Planning & Strategy: Develop a comprehensive migration strategy, scope, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements, mapping rules, and transformation logic.
  2. Execution & Delivery: Lead end-to-end execution of data migration activities across all project phases, including extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), validation, and reconciliation. Manage migration of master data, transactional data, and historical records from legacy systems to target platforms.
  3. Data Quality and Governance: Define and enforce data quality rules, cleansing standards, and validation procedures. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of migrated data with regulatory and audit standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in data migration, data integration, or data management roles.
  • Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle data migration for a major ERP, HCM, or CRM implementation.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, BAAN, etc.
  • Experience with data migration tools.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, master data management (MDM), and data governance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
