Responsibilities:

  2. Performing hands-on software development, typically spending most of the time writing code, unit tests, conducting proof of concepts, code reviews, and testing in ongoing sprints.
  3. Performing ongoing refactoring of code and delivering continuous improvement.
  4. Developing a deep understanding of integrations with other systems and platforms within the supported domains.
  5. Managing your own time and working well both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
  • BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience working in Java and able to demonstrate good Java knowledge.
  • Able to demonstrate good web fundamentals and HTTP protocol knowledge.
  • Good attitude, communication, willingness to learn, and collaborate.
  • Experience working with Java 11 and above is a plus.
  • Experience developing Java applications in frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Dropwizard is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems.
  • Proven experience building scalable web applications using Java.
  • Mandatory skills: Git, API Gateway, Microservices, Postman, Spring Boot, JUNIT, Maven, Selenium Testing Automation, Swagger, Java Microservices.
