Job Title: Medical Director of Radiology

We are seeking an exceptional medical professional to lead our radiology department as the Medical Director. This key role will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and operational efficiency of the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization
    • Regularly review productivity metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance performance.
    • Analyze report turnaround times to ensure timely service delivery and adherence to benchmarks.
    • Identify and address any irregularities, time deviations, or case rejections by radiologists.
  • Quality Assurance & Clinical Accuracy
    • Conduct thorough reviews of radiology imaging reports to ensure diagnostic accuracy and consistency.
    • Lead quality control initiatives to minimize reporting discrepancies and enhance diagnostic reliability.
  • Strategic Recruitment & Skill Alignment
    • Oversight of the recruitment and selection process for radiologists and diagnostic imaging professionals.
    • Evaluation of candidates based on clinical proficiency and mapping their skill sets to specific imaging modalities.
  • Risk & Compliance Management
    • Responsible for addressing any operational or clinical issues with potential legal implications.
    • Collaboration with compliance teams to maintain adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

Maintain open communication with referring physicians and patients regarding imaging procedures, ensuring patient satisfaction and collaborative care.

Technology Integration & Infrastructure Support
  • Closely work with biomedical engineering and IT departments to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of imaging technologies and systems.
