About this role: We seek an Electrical Instrumentation Expert to lead the effort in developing, assigning and managing maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment. The role supports asset reliability by creating and assigning appropriate equipment strategy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzer and control systems.
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation such as transmitters, control valves and flow meters.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise in instrumentation and electrical maintenance and inspection.
  • Familiarity with field instrumentation preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Skilled instrument maintenance technicians with understanding of the preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation including control valves and on-off valves.

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of hazardous area classification and international instrumentation standards.

This role involves standardizing instrumentation maintenance procedures and test intervals across similar asset classes.
