Solar Design Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solar Design Engineer to lead our team in the creation and implementation of solar power projects. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for managing the design lifecycle from conceptualization to execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire design process for large-scale solar PV power plants.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Develop and review design plans, specifications, and construction documents to ensure compliance with local, national, and international codes and standards.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to define project requirements and present design solutions and progress updates to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in solar PV design and project management of single plants of 100 MWp and higher.
  • Expertise in optimizing designs to meet client requirements and project demands.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, Sketchup, and Helioscope.
