Director of Renewable Energy Talent Acquisition

Lead the strategic planning and execution of talent acquisition initiatives for wind and solar energy verticals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent in renewable energy.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to forecast workforce needs and align hiring plans with growth targets.
  • Oversee leadership hiring for engineering, operations, and sustainability functions.
  • Build and manage a high-performing talent acquisition team and mentor recruiters.
  • Design and implement employer branding initiatives tailored to renewable energy professionals.
  • Optimize recruitment processes for speed, quality, and compliance with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards.
  • Monitor and report recruitment metrics to enhance efficiency and hiring outcomes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • MBA or equivalent with 12-15 years of experience in scaling talent acquisition functions within renewable energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing a team of recruiters.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across business, human resources, and external partners.
  • In-depth understanding of technical hiring in wind energy, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), and project development domains.
  • Knowledge of hiring practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability and data-driven decision-making.
