The Role of a Marketing Associate

  • This is an entry-level position that provides exposure to various marketing activities and allows the opportunity to contribute to a team environment.
About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing Associate who will be responsible for conducting research on industry trends, competitors, and our product features. This role will also involve setting up and scheduling routine marketing emails and drip campaigns.

In addition to these tasks, the successful candidate will work on short-form content such as social media posts and website content. The associate will also plan and maintain the social media content calendar, ensuring timely execution.

Responsibilities include monitoring competitor activities, feature updates, and pricing changes to help build comparison documents. Furthermore, the associate will work on backlinking strategies to enhance SEO performance and coordinate with internal teams for marketing assets and campaign execution.

The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment. Formal education in Marketing through a Bachelor's degree or certifications or courses is required. Additionally, the individual must be a fast learner, proactive, creative, and able to work with minimal supervision.

A fair understanding of SEO, email marketing, and social media management is necessary. Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills are also essential. The ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of relevant marketing experience

  • Familiarity with marketing tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar platforms
