IDQ is seeking a talented Senior Database Developer to join its Chennai office, which is poised to double in size and become a leading engineering centre of excellence. This individual will play a key role in shaping the company's engineering capabilities, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as microservices, micro frontends, and cloud engineering.

The Senior Database Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Architects, Project Managers, Application Architects, and Development teams, to deliver high-quality projects. This includes implementing and managing database security policies, ensuring data integrity and availability, and optimizing database performance.

A minimum of 12 years of IT experience, 10 years of experience in administering, managing, securing, and tuning database servers, and 3 years of cloud platform experience in CloudSQL/GCP or RDS/AWS are essential requirements. Strong knowledge of indexes, index management, and configuration management, along with experience in SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, is highly desirable.

Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, be able to maintain documentation of database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps, and demonstrate proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, and others.
