Job Description

To be part of a dynamic costing team, you will own responsibilities for various activities performed by the Costing and Inventory Team. Your role will involve collaborating and coordinating with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks.

  1. Perform Month-end Analysis and prepare Reports to ensure smooth financial entries for all entities in India and Middle East.
  2. Co-ordinate with BU teams and other teams during annual re-cost, clearing errors and ensuring the setup of correct standard cost.
  3. Work with BUs on standard and ad hoc inventory related reports and queries.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Be proactive in performing regular sub-con reconciliation, timely Physical count cycle count process to ensure compliance of TE's Inventory Policy.
  • Act as a focal point for all Inventory, AS2, Margin and Costing related areas during Statutory audit and Cost audit.
  • Ensure Costing and Inventory topics are in alignment with Policy and ensure timely submission of deviation requests as per DoA approval.

Additionally, you will:

  • Act as a Lead during the Internal audit to ensure planning and execution, work on corrective actions with Internal auditors for areas relating to Costing, Inventory and Master data.
  • Interact and collaborate with other departments for any queries related to Costing and Inventory Support on creation of New cost centers and perform periodic review on active cost centers.
  • Monthly review on Costing and Inventory with BU controllers and provide insights to all Key stake holders.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to play an active role during migration of legacy SAP to S4 Hana for all India and Middle East legal entities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with the following skills and qualifications:

  • MBA finance from reputed university
  • Qualified CMA preferred
  • Experience in Accounts and Finance, preferably Inventory Accounting in a manufacturing company with multiple plant operations
  • Extensive working in MS Office, esp Excel, and SAP Functional Knowledge
  • Proactive approach to queries and requests
  • Critical thinking to understand the logic behind activities performed
  • Eager to learn and being adaptable
  • Ability to handle large data and creating dashboards such as Tableau PowerBi
  • Good communication skills and Stakeholder engagement
