Ecommerce Development OpportunityJob Overview

As a senior ecommerce developer, you will be responsible for implementing standards for development, source code control, documentation, digital testing practices, and release management on the SAP Hybris platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to contribute to the IT department's policies and procedures for SAP Hybris e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing standards for development, source code control, documentation, digital testing practices, and release management on SAP Hybris.
  • Contributing to IT policies and procedures for SAP Hybris e-commerce solutions.
  • Collaborating with software development teams using source code management tools like Git.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality code with well-documented architectural designs.
  • Validating code quality with tools like SonarCloud.
  • Providing Level 1, 2, and 3 support for SAP Hybris e-commerce platform solutions, working alongside external vendors and support services.
  • Investigating and addressing defects, incidents, and outages in collaboration with internal IT teams and external vendors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficient in Java development with significant experience.
  • Development experience with B2C and B2B Hybris accelerators, OCC, WCMS, Media, Backoffice, Cockpits, and ASM.
  • Familiarity with search engines like Solr, Coveo, and Lucidchart.
  • Experience integrating various payment providers.
  • Hands-on experience creating standalone microservices.
  • Proficiency in code versioning and control systems (like SVN and GIT).
  • Knowledge of SAP Cloud Infrastructure CCV2.
  • Understanding of SQL (MySQL, Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server).
  • Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit.
  • Hands-on experience with SoapUI, REST Client/Postman, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular/React/Vue.
  • Experience integrating with CDN, Web Analytics, Application Monitoring, and Alerting technologies.
  • Proven experience leading a team of developers and enhancing their technical skillsets.
  • Execution of at least two full lifecycles of Hybris projects.
  • Customer interaction skills to understand requirements and resolve issues.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure.
  • At least one experience with platform migration, ideally Hybris version 2208+.
  • Setup of Hybris development environments and sandboxes.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with e-commerce systems (Shopify, Commercetools, BigCommerce) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with product information management or ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics) is beneficial.
  • Experience with retail applications.
  • Familiarity with Kibana and Dynatrace.
