Job Overview:

This position is responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable data pipelines to process clinical encounter data and integrate healthcare information. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with software engineers, machine learning specialists, and clinical partners to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design event-driven data pipelines for real-time clinical workflows and ensure seamless integration with electronic health records (EHRs) using standards like FHIR and HL7.
  • Develop reliable systems to ingest, track, and update clinical events in real-time while maintaining high-quality, structured data for downstream ML systems.
  • Establish robust pipeline performance through observability, monitoring, and error handling.
  • Collaborate with ML engineers to align data flows with model needs and continuously improve pipeline design to maximize scalability, resilience, and automation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines.
  • Strong background in workflow orchestration and event-driven systems, including proficiency with relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience operating in cloud environments and working with distributed, highly available systems.
  • Track record of delivering data infrastructure that supports ML or analytics applications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
