Chief Quality Assurance and Development Professional

This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our developmental quality assurance function, driving the design of first-time-right, scalable product designs.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify process optimization opportunities. They will be responsible for ensuring compliance with SOPs, policies, standards, guidelines, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
We are seeking a highly motivated and result-driven individual with a strong background in chemistry and experience in the fine chemical industry. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the developmental quality assurance function, overseeing overall responsibility for QA at R&D & Development sites.
- Establish a robust stage gate system to ensure right-first-time quality of products designed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design experiments, DOE, hypothesis studies, and protocols for experiments.
- Manage the budget and resources for DQA & Kilo Lab operations, including Capex, Opex, talent hiring, and retention.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, policies, standards, guidelines, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
- Develop and implement strategies for particle size engineering, including micronization, granulation, and agglomeration.
- Analyze and enhance bulk density, compressibility, and particle shape, particle size of materials.
- Implement advanced physical characterization techniques for APIs, ingredients, including particle size distribution, morphology, porosity, and surface area analysis.
- Set up processes for material evaluation using SEM, TEM, XRD, DLS, and laser diffraction.
- Determine process conditions, including RH for Hygroscopic materials handling, their packing configuration, and storage conditions.
- Coordinate with Business, Technology absorption cell, site QA, and internal CFTs to ensure smooth functioning, closing of stage gate process in timely manner, review and sign-off of tech-pack and release timely to site.
- Generate and review monthly, weekly, and periodic DQA reports with management and apprise quality-related issues in new projects with areas of improvement.
Requirements:
- M.Sc / M.Pharma – Chemistry
- 16-24 Years of experience in API/Intermediate/Fine chemical Industry.
- Sound knowledge of Fine chemical, DQA is must with good knowledge of product development at R&D stage.
