Role: Senior QA Automation Engineer (Playwright)
Job Responsibilities
- Create robust, scalable automated test suites using Playwright or similar modern frameworks.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with business requirements.
- Build reusable test frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments.
- Identify and track defects using tools like JIRA, and collaborate with engineering to drive resolution.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing efforts.
- Conduct performance testing, regression testing, and cross-browser testing to validate application quality across platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of software testing experience, with 3+ years in test automation using Playwright or equivalent frameworks.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, including experience writing test scripts for browser automation.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and experience using tools like Postman or Swagger for API testing.
- Experience with version control systems and collaborative workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
- Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and comfort working in iterative environments.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
