Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned data professional to lead the development and deployment of cloud-based data solutions. This key role involves overseeing the technical direction of projects, guiding team members, and delivering scalable and efficient systems using cloud and big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive data processing systems in a cloud environment.
  • Design and architect big data processing pipelines utilizing cloud-native services and Apache Spark.
  • Build and manage serverless applications and integrate them with cloud services to create efficient and maintainable solutions.
  • Use container orchestration tools to manage microservices-based applications.
  • Design and implement workflow orchestration solutions for managing complex data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure smooth integration across services.
  • Mentor and guide development teams on cloud architecture, data engineering principles, and software best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance and cost-efficiency of deployed solutions in cloud environments.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and tools to drive technical excellence and innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in software development with a focus on Java.
  • Proficiency in Apache Spark for distributed data processing.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services.
  • Strong understanding of serverless architectures and microservices design.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team mentoring experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
