Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Pega UI/UX Developer to join our team at Orbion Infotech. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing user interfaces and experiences on the Pega platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop user interfaces using Pega UI components, ensuring consistency, usability, and functionality across all Pega applications.
  • Leverage Pega's design principles to customize and extend the platform's user interfaces in alignment with business requirements.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize workflows, user journeys, and interactions before implementation.
  • Conduct user research, analyze user behavior, and derive actionable insights to inform design decisions.
  • Develop reusable UI components that conform to design standards and integrate seamlessly with backend systems.
  • Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and backend developers to ensure a smooth and effective user experience in Pega applications.
  • Enhance performance and responsiveness of the user interface by optimizing the frontend code.
  • Conduct usability tests and refine designs based on feedback and test results.
  • Ensure compliance with industry-standard accessibility guidelines to deliver inclusive designs that cater to a diverse range of users.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Pega UI/UX development.
  • Proficiency in Pega 8.x or higher, including the design and customization of UI components.
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks for enhancing user interfaces.
  • Expertise in designing for responsive and adaptive interfaces for different devices and browsers.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • UX/UI design skills, including a strong grasp of user-centered design principles and human-computer interaction (HCI).
  • Knowledge of usability testing and ability to implement changes based on user feedback.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pega Certification (CSSA or CPBA) with a focus on UI/UX development.
  • Previous experience working with Pega's Cosmos design system and UI kit.
  • Experience in building complex workflow applications within Pega.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0) and how to incorporate these into UI designs.
