ETL Test Specialist

A seasoned ETL testing professional is required to validate the accuracy and reliability of data transferred between systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various ETL tools and technologies, including Azure, ADF, SQL, Python, Java, and Selenium.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans for ETL processes to ensure data integrity and quality.
  • Identify and report defects in ETL code and scripts to prevent data errors.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and improve ETL efficiency through optimized workflow.
  • Develop and maintain testing frameworks and automation scripts using Python or Java to streamline testing processes.
  • Work closely with database administrators to ensure data consistency and integrity across all systems.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in ETL testing with a focus on data validation and verification.
  • Proficiency in Azure, ADF, SQL, Python, Java, and Selenium to ensure seamless data transfer.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve data errors.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
