About Us:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex data solutions and ensuring their scalability, efficiency, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of technical initiatives using agile methods and frameworks.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions.
  • Mentor and coach engineers to foster their professional growth.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance policies and processes.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8-13 years of experience in software development.
  • Proven people leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, data pipelines, data consumption, data analysis, and documentation.
  • Experience with data warehousing and delivery approaches such as TDD, CI, and infrastructure automation.
  • Demonstrated commitment to code quality and a keen eye for detail.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with BigQuery/PostgreSQL/MSSQL, Python libraries (Pandas, Requests, JSON), Docker, Kafka, Linux shell scripting, Git/GitHub, AWS (S3, Lambda, IaC), Airflow, and interacting with REST APIs.
