As a WMS Design and Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the implementation, optimization, and support of WMS software systems, with a focus on Manhattan Associates WMS, one of the leading cloud-native, evergreen, and extensible WMS in the industry.

To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience in WMS, preferably Manhattan Associates WMS, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. You should also have excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Define business requirements and specifications for WMS software projects

Implement and configure Manhattan Associates WMS solutions to meet customer needs and expectations to meet functional and non-functional KPIs.

Optimize warehouse productivity, space utilization, and employee engagement using Manhattan Associates WMS proprietary algorithms and features.

Conduct software testing, training, and maintenance for new and existing clients.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate WMS with other systems and processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WMS software and functionality.

Document and update standard operating procedures and best practices.

Provide technical support and guidance to WMS users and stakeholders.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, computer science, or related field.

10+ years of experience in WMS software design and implementation, preferably in a 3PL environment.

Proficient in Manhattan Associates WMS software, or other WMS software such as SAP, High Jump, or CORE.

Knowledge of warehouse management, inventory management, order management, and logistics systems.

Ability to interpret customer specifications and translate them into WMS solutions.

Experience in conducting system tests, identifying discrepancies, and providing resolutions.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
