Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Development Professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Execution and Management: Timely rollout and implementation of projects, ensuring alignment with project plans. Track and ensure quality delivery of detailed implementation plans (DIPs). Collaborate with program lead and coordinator and internal teams to secure necessary support for project execution. Encourage and incorporate innovative approaches in project activities. Address operational challenges promptly in coordination with the program coordinator and Program Lead.
  • Regular Field Visits: Conduct regular field visits (100% of the time) to monitor progress and ensure goals are met.
Develop Partnerships and Advocacy:
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at community, ward, and district levels across private, government, academic, and NGO sectors.
  • Advocacy Efforts: Participate in advocacy efforts at district and state levels to drive impactful change.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate in Social Work/ Rural Development/ Rural Management/ Social Sciences/Any degree with NGO experience.
  • Experience: 1+ years' experience in program implementation in the social sector.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, Tamil and Hindi languages.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to develop good relationships with stakeholders.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
