About the Role

The position involves collaborating with clients to understand their investment needs in the structured finance sector.

Main Responsibilities

  • Review client portfolios by examining legal agreements and understanding servicer/trustee reporting.
  • Support clients in monitoring risk and exposure of transactions.
  • Calculate and monitor key metrics, such as covenants, concentration limits, eligibility criteria, and Borrowing Base calculations.
  • Assist or lead daily operations of workstreams and ensure timely delivery.
  • Liaise with the Business Analyst and Implementation team for data accuracy on proprietary platforms.
  • Mentor team members to improve learning curve.
  • Provide enhanced surveillance to clients on their portfolios and share critical performance aspects proactively.
  • Assist in standardizing and streamlining processes to increase efficiencies and set up SOPs around deliverables.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Strong understanding of Structured Finance products, corporate credit landscape, ABL, CLO, Middle Market Portfolio Financing.
  • In-depth knowledge of core financial and accounting concepts.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling using MS Excel.
  • Understanding of various financial databases, including Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Factiva.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • Desired candidate must have graduated with an MBA or advanced degree in finance like CFA, CAIA, and FRM.
  • Prior experience of at least 3-5 years with an Investment Bank, Investment Management firm, or Financial Advisory firm, preferably.
