">Invoicing Trainee Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Invoicing Trainee to join our team. As an Invoicing Trainee, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial accuracy of our operations by ensuring timely and precise invoicing.

  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers in a timely manner
  • Meet invoice delivery timelines while maintaining high levels of accuracy
  • Enter invoices into customer invoicing web sites efficiently
  • Submit invoices by electronic data interchange with minimal errors
  • Understand key areas in invoicing specific to each customer and address their requirements accordingly
  • Conduct thorough checks on each field on the invoices before submission
  • Ensure all support and backups are in place and attached to invoices as needed
  • Update Navision with timely and immediate invoice submission status information
  • Maintain accurate records of invoice submissions and customer invoicing process files for reference
  • Collaborate closely with the payroll & invoicing team to accelerate the invoice submission process
  • Send out statement of accounts to customers promptly
  • Reconcile self-billed cases with customer-approved timesheets, identifying and addressing any mismatch in billing/payment to ensure AR hygiene
  • Handle invoice rejections and credit/rebill processing efficiently
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the complete invoicing process, account-wise, and update them timely
  • Continuously support the improvement of platforms for invoicing
  • Assist Credit Control in invoicing and collection of payment effectively

For this role, we are looking for candidates with 0-1.5 years of relevant experience in invoicing, preferably from a commerce or finance background. Strong communication skills, technical skills in Microsoft Excel (formulas, V-lookup, Pivot Table), good analytical and logical skills, and accounting knowledge are essential.
