Job Title: Backend Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer & Tech Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java/Kotlin, a strong understanding of scalable backend architecture, and expertise in AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain server-side components using Java/Kotlin.
  • Create and manage APIs to connect with various internal and external services.
  • Develop and optimize database schemas, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Utilize AWS services to deploy, manage, and scale applications in a cloud environment.
  • Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in Kotlin: Hands-on experience developing backend systems with Java/Kotlin.
  • AWS Expertise: Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation, Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker.
  • Database Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Microservices Architecture: Experience in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.
  • API Development: Solid experience in developing and consuming RESTful/Grpc APIs.
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows (e.g., GitFlow).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry, especially in trading platforms would be a plus.
