Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Ab Initio developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing complex ETL solutions using the Ab Initio tool suite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop ETL jobs for automation, monitoring and performance optimization
- Implement design decisions using design patterns and plans in Ab Initio
- Develop Unix wrapper scripts to handle complex transformation logic
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 6+ years of experience in Ab Initio ETL development and production support
- Experience with the broader Ab Initio tool suite and latest versions such as CoOp and EME
- Good working experience with all components of Ab Initio
- Strong proficiency in Shell scripting and Oracle SQL/PLSQL
