IT Audit Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Audit Consultant to join our team. As an IT Audit Consultant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our clients' IT systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Participating in planning activities to identify client needs and service opportunities;
  • Owning growth and service delivery of engagements, coordinating efforts with supervisors and clients on System and Organization Controls (SOC) Examinations, PCI DSS Assessments, HITRUST Assessments, IT Audits, internal audit engagements, pre- and post-implementation assessments, and report issuance under AICPA Consulting and Attestation Standards;
  • Working with clients to execute engagements, leveraging industry and functional insights from advisory business to bring greater value to clients;
  • Designing and executing high-quality, integrated, and efficient audit procedures;
  • Assisting in building audit methodology, working paper guidelines, quality review standards, and communication protocols; Develop audit programs and procedures to establish audit processes and streamline control testing for effective operations;
  • Creating and implementing audit strategy related to evaluation of significant applications relevant to financial audits;
  • Preparing and communicating issues, risk, and recommendations to client leadership, including ongoing insights on potential corrective action plans;
  • Identifying potential clients and generating leads for our services;

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with clients and team members;
  • Collaboration with engagement team members to plan the engagement, develop work program timelines, risk assessments, budgets, and other planning documents;
  • Leadership skills to lead the engagement team, ensure quality workpapers and deliverables, provide regular status updates, and adhere to project timelines;
  • Demonstrated understanding of standards, regulations, and information systems;
  • Strong project management skills, maintaining teamwork culture, project timelines, and quality of deliverables;
  • Demonstrated confidentiality and integrity within a professional environment;

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum two years of related work experience or a graduate degree and approximately one to two years of related work experience;
  • Degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline;
  • We prefer a Chartered Accountant who is a member of the ICAI;
  • Minimum of one year of experience working as an auditor or risk advisor for a CA firm, a professional services firm, or a financial services company, or comparable experience as an advisor to a financial services company. Significant experience with auditing IT General Controls and Business Process Controls will be an advantage;
  • Experience with at least two of the following types of engagements: Service Organization Control (SOC) reporting; internal audit risk assessment; financial statement audits/SOX/internal controls; PCI and/or HITRUST Assessments; and/or application security and control reviews (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday) will be an advantage;
