About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Security professional to join our team as a Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing expert. In this role, you will play a key part in building and nurturing positive working relationships with clients, while also demonstrating your technical expertise through complex security projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a technical lead or subject matter specialist on Cyber Security Assessment projects covering vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, network security architecture review, secure configuration/code review, etc.
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently on projects with limited supervision, as well as lead small teams with assistance from senior members.
  • Demonstrates understanding of business and information technology management processes.
  • Manages day-to-day client relationships at mid and lower levels.
  • Leads practice development initiatives.


Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong understanding of basic business and information technology management processes.
  • Good knowledge of TCP/IP and networks, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, routers, switches, and network architecture.
  • Experience with Web Application Security Testing, Infrastructure VAPT, API testing, mobile testing (iOS & Android).
  • Experience on cloud (AWS & Azure) configuration and red-teaming.
  • Experience in conducting firewall and network devices configuration reviews and configuration reviews of Windows, Linux, UNIX, Solaris, databases, etc.
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools: Kali Linux, Acunetix, AppScan, Nexpose, Qualys Guard, Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, Fortify, etc.
  • Basic scripting skills: Shell, Python, PERL, etc.
  • Broad knowledge of technologies: IPSEC, SSL, SSH, VPN, Ethernet Token Ring, WAP, SMTP, FTP, Frame Relay, WAN, ATM, FDDI, DSL, ISDN, HP Openview, Sun NetManage, Cisco Works, Radius, Big Brother, F5.


Additional Requirements

The successful candidate will also have:

  • Experience in source code review.
  • Experience in network security architecture review, endpoint security, product security.
  • Strong knowledge of malware analysis, patch management, threat profiling, container, Dockers.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Openness to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Ability to interact with team members and confidence during client meetings.
  • Initiative and drive.
  • Deadline-oriented and quality-focused.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of one or more industry or functional area.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks: OWASP, CIS, NIST ISO27001, etc.


Education and Certifications

Candidates must hold a B.Tech/M.Tech degree and possess a security certification such as CEH, LPT, OSCP. A security certification for GPEN or CREST is desirable.
