Job Title: Dispatch Supervisor

The primary objective of this role is to maximize fleet utilization through efficient driver operations planning. To achieve this, you will ensure that all delivery customer requirements are met as scheduled and booked, and communicate pertinent details of delivery or pick-up to drivers in a timely manner.

In addition to the above responsibilities, you will be expected to:

  • Ensure that system updates are frequent and accurate with any changes to in-out times, notes or information pertaining to each assigned customer order.
  • Engage in ongoing personal and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Key Skills:

  • Strong English language skills - verbal and written.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and maintain results.
  • Strong knowledge of North American trucking regulations and geography.
  • Assessment techniques such as examining, questioning, evaluating, and reporting.
  • Good analytical skills, effective planning and organization, creativity, resourcefulness, attention to detail and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • This position generally requires at least 1-2 years of related dispatch experience.
  • System training or experience required.

Pay:

$35,000.00 - $45,960.81 per month.
