Senior Frontend Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior JavaScript Developer with extensive hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in core JavaScript concepts such as closures, scoping, and the event loop. Additionally, proficiency in TypeScript is desired.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Web Application Development: Design and develop scalable web applications using JavaScript.
  • Frontend Components and UIs: Build reusable frontend components and responsive user interfaces with clean and modular code.
  • Data Integration: Develop backend services, RESTful APIs, and handle data integration between frontend and backend.
  • Problem-Solving: Apply deep knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals in problem-solving and code design.

Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to optimize application performance. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices and architecture patterns.

Troubleshooting and Technical Expertise: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of industry experience in Web Application Development.
  • Strong JavaScript programming skills.
  • Knowledge of HTTP protocol (Requests, responses, Cookies, etc.).
  • Proficient with regular expressions.
  • Experience in ServiceNow Development.
  • Experience in working with ServiceNow modules such as CMDB, ITSM, VR, AVR, CVR, CSPM.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Create proof-of-concept, design documents for product teams.
  • Experience with Git, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
