UAV Propulsion Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced UAV Propulsion Systems Engineer to join our team.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the primary technical authority for all propulsion system integration activities, ensuring seamless collaboration across mechanical and avionics teams.

  2. Oversee the execution of bench tests, root cause analysis, scheduled maintenance, and post-flight propulsion assessments, guaranteeing operational integrity across platforms.

  3. Lead implementation of 25/50/100-hour service protocols for UAV engines, including teardown inspections, part replacements, and system recalibrations.

  4. Mentor junior staff, enforcing compliance with airworthiness and QA protocols, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

  • Requirements:

  1. 5–10 years of experience in UAV Propulsion Systems, RPA (Remotely Piloted Aircraft), Engine Diagnostics & Calibration

  2. Demonstrated expertise in engine system architecture, subsystem integration, calibration of propulsion control units, test bench operations & run-time monitoring, fault diagnostics & troubleshooting, and scheduled & predictive maintenance leadership.

  3. Ability to provide propulsion performance summaries to the program manager and assist with engine configuration decisions during mission planning.

  4. Familiarity with STANAG 4671, MIL-STD-810, and internal propulsion system SOPs.
