Job Title: Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development lifecycle, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) to ensure the quality of our web applications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute functional, regression, and smoke testing strategies for web applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand feature requirements and ensure seamless integration.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and issues throughout the development cycle.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test coverage and automation frameworks.
  • Maintain and optimize test data and environments to support efficient testing.
  • Contribute to the improvement of test strategies and automation frameworks to drive business value.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright for web testing.
  • Strong understanding of testing concepts, defect lifecycle, and Agile principles.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with Git and CI tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of other automation tools like Selenium or Cypress.
  • Familiarity with REST API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
  • Understanding of performance or security testing methodologies.
