Project Lead Senior Architect Role

We seek an experienced architect with leadership skills to manage consultancy projects.

About the Role
  • Oversee large-scale projects and provide full design strategy.
  • Independently manage small to mid-value projects, including design and delivery.
  • Ensure architectural documentation meets client requirements.
  • Review architectural drawings for accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify and resolve design or coordination issues in MEP systems.
  • Collaborate with internal and external engineers to prevent technical clashes.
  • Develop permit application strategies and maintain communication with regulatory authorities.
  • Interpret local/national building codes and municipal by-laws.
  • Lead submission of compliance documents.
  • Mentor architects, drafters, and interns to ensure well-coordinated technical outputs.
  • Implement quality control protocols across projects.

This role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture and minimum 5+ years of experience leading commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

You must have deep experience preparing statutory documents, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and MS Office, and strong knowledge of building codes.

A registered Architect with the Council of Architecture is a plus.

Strong team leadership, mentoring, and process improvement skills are essential.
