Product Strategist

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with business objectives and market demands.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs, informing product decisions and strategic direction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of new features and products, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, engaging with customers to understand their needs and gather feedback.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure successful product launches and drive adoption and satisfaction.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to the product strategy.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in the cybersecurity industry, preferably in technical roles such as software or sales engineering, or technical leadership roles.
  • Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of cybersecurity technologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and measure success.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Customer Focus: Passion for understanding and solving customer problems.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and opportunities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Technical Background: Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies such as SIEM, XDR, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, etc.
  • Project Management: Experience with development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, DevOps) and tools (JIRA).
  • Innovative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions to complex problems.
