The key objectives for the first year include:

  • Maintaining profitability in design services while balancing quality and productivity.
  • Delivering high-quality marketing assets that meet brand and client standards.
  • Driving client retention through design excellence, responsiveness, and alignment with client needs.
  • Supporting upsell opportunities by proactively identifying and pitching design-related enhancements.

The responsibilities encompass:

  • Leading the design function, establishing quality standards and review processes.
  • Overseeing and mentoring a team of designers, promoting creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Partnering with client strategy and account teams to deliver impactful, conversion-focused creative.
  • Implementing a rigorous quality control process to ensure all deliverables meet brand and performance requirements.
  • Managing resources and timelines to ensure profitable operations and client satisfaction.
  • Acting as a senior client-facing leader, building trust and positioning design as a strategic value driver.

The qualifications required are:

  • Proven experience of 5-8 years in agency or client-facing roles leading creative/design functions.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in email design, digital banners, ads, and marketing assets.
  • Experience managing design teams with a balance of creativity and operational efficiency.
  • Business acumen with the ability to manage profit, budgets, and growth targets.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills; ability to translate business needs into compelling design solutions.
