Job Description

The successful candidate will lead a team of experts to deliver high-quality project outcomes. This involves strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and supervision of personnel.

The role requires effective coordination with national and international partners, as well as technical leadership in stakeholder consultations, workshops, and key meetings.

  • Hold overall responsibility for project advisory packages, ensuring delivery quality and timelines.
  • Lead, plan, and manage personnel assignments within budget, including supporting local and international experts.
  • Coordinate all project communications with key partners, stakeholders, and consortium members.

Key Deliverables:

- High-quality project outputs delivered on time.

- Effective stakeholder engagement and relationship management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Qualifications & Experience:

A Master's degree in Environmental Policy, Economics, Forestry, Business Administration, or related discipline is required.

Prior experience in sustainability and natural resources management, business development, value chain promotion and market linkages, and management/leadership experience as project team leader or manager is essential.

Demonstrated proficiency in English and Hindi (B2 level) is also necessary.

Desired Skills and Competencies:

Exceptional leadership, team management, and multi-disciplinary coordination skills are highly valued.

Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation abilities, strategic planning and results-oriented approach, and excellent oral and written communication in English and Hindi are also desirable.
