We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of innovative web applications.

Job Overview

As a Front-End Developer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create user-centric interfaces that drive business results. Your primary focus will be on implementing front-end features using Django templates, ensuring optimal performance, and maintaining code quality. Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, build, and maintain high-quality Django web applications, ensuring performance and responsiveness.
  2. Collaborate with back-end teams to integrate user interfaces with server-side logic.
  3. Implement and maintain data storage solutions using Django ORM.
  4. Manage RESTful APIs and ensure smooth communication between front-end and back-end components.
  5. Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  6. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistent user experiences.
  7. Troubleshoot and debug issues to enhance application performance.
  8. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of Django ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) for efficient database handling.
  • Mastery of Django's template language for generating dynamic HTML content.
  • Familiarity with Django REST framework for building Web APIs.
  • Knowledge of class-based views to organize application logic.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • An understanding of security features in Django (e.g., XSS protection, CSRF protection).
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (preferred).
