Fabrication Group Leader

Thermax Limited is seeking an experienced Fabrication Group Leader to lead and manage the end-to-end fabrication activities across multiple units. This position requires a strong understanding of fabrication processes, including structural, pressure vessel, and equipment fabrication.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with design, procurement, planning, and quality departments for seamless execution.

A key responsibility of this role will be monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (productivity, utilization, rejection rates, etc.), driving process improvements, automation, and lean manufacturing practices.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining documentation, reports, and ensuring audit readiness, as well as managing subcontracting activities and vendor performance if applicable.

This role requires a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with proven experience in structural, pressure vessel, or equipment fabrication.

Additional requirements include a strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, codes, and standards, as well as familiarity with ERP systems, fabrication software/tools, and production planning systems.
