Semiconductor Quality Assurance Specialist

Ate testing is a vital part of the semiconductor manufacturing process. As an ASIC test engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive test plans to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have expertise in one of the ATE platforms, such as Teradyne ETS800/ETS88/ETS364. They should also possess strong knowledge of IC test methodologies, system testing, and communication protocols like USB, UART, PCIe, I2C, I2S, DDR, etc.
We are looking for a motivated individual who can work comfortably with Windows and Linux operating systems, troubleshoot complex problems, and analyze data points. The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines is essential.
You will work closely with cross-functional R&D teams to finalize manufacturing test requirements, drive new product migration from R&D to high-volume manufacturing, and support technical issues. Additionally, you will monitor product yield, test time, and DPPM, providing technical solutions for yield improvement and TTR reduction.
Your role will involve defining product DFT and test requirements pre-PG, including DfT-max requirements for new products, translating PRD/MRDs into PTS/SCMs/PRPs for ATE test-plan definition, and designing ATE HW for lowest cost solutions. You will also execute design-of-experiments with process window corner lot to establish spec compliance and qualify Si and package to automotive, industrial, and commercial standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in electronics and/or semiconductors, along with hands-on experience with lab equipment like testers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and logic analyzers. Proficiency in software programs written in C, C++, C# is necessary, as well as the ability to step through code if required.
Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, you will also need excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people. Self-motivated and self-directed, you should be able to achieve results in a fast-moving environment while demonstrating a proven desire to work as a team member.
