Senior Backend Engineer (Python)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer (Python) to join our high-impact engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python and modern frameworks like FastAPI / Django / Flask, as well as experience with databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

In this role, you will work closely with AI engineers and product teams to integrate LLMs and GenAI-driven insights, ensuring security, reliability, and performance across backend services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices.
  • Build and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs for high performance.
  • Leverage modern frameworks like Pydantic, FastAPI, and others to ship production-ready code.
  • Work closely with AI engineers and product teams to integrate LLMs and GenAI-driven insights.
  • Ensure security, reliability, and performance across backend services.
Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • 5+ years of backend development experience.
  • Expert in Python and modern frameworks: FastAPI / Django / Flask.
  • Pydantic for data validation & schema management.
  • SQLAlchemy / Alembic for database ORM and migrations.
  • Strong experience with databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
  • Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Experience designing distributed systems and scalable architectures.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Bonus: Experience with AI/LLM integrations or agentic frameworks.
