Electrical Qualifications Leader

As an Electrical Qualifications Leader, you will oversee the electrical qualifications engineering team responsible for new / second-sourcing / localization of electrical/electronic parts/components qualifications. Your key objective is to evaluate and prioritize qualifications based on cost savings to attain highest possible cost reduction. You will generate standard procedure/process and plan for qualifying electrical/electronic parts and/or components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop qualification plans for new / second-sourcing / localization of electrical / electronic components Manufacturers, so as to achieve maximum cost saving.
  • Perform all possible tests on the submitted samples and ensure that the new parts meet the specifications.
  • Interface with stakeholders to coordinate electrical qualifications activities.
  • Interact with vendors to obtain required information and coordinate correction of samples if necessary.
  • Report electrical qualification status and activities to superiors.
  • Support vendor qualifications through technical assessment and on-site engineers visit when required.
  • Conduct pilot run in coordination with Quality Department to verify performance of new parts in regular manufacturing process.
  • Implement product safety test reports and maintain lab order.
  • Communicate effectively with peers and vendors to resolve doubts raised by vendors.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance objectives are achieved through active involvement of peers.
