Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer III to join our team as an Automation Specialist. This role will involve designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining test automation for medium-complexity features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance test automation tools, scripts, coverage, and code structure to ensure seamless execution of automated tests.
  • Debug application issues and collaborate with developers to identify root causes and implement fixes.
  • Automate manual tasks to boost productivity and efficiency in testing processes.
  • Develop detailed test plans and review test cases from peers to ensure thorough coverage of features.
  • Manage timely testing, including manual testing, to ensure delivery of high-quality products.
  • Stay up-to-date with programming languages, frameworks, and computer science fundamentals to continue delivering innovative solutions.
  • Participate in product discussions and refine acceptance criteria to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Gather product knowledge and understand technical architecture to make informed decisions.
  • Create documentation for features and conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and QEs on implementation details to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Mentor junior SDETs and lead the onboarding process to foster growth and development within the team.
Requirements
  • A results-driven full-stack QA engineer with a passion for new challenges and a strong track record of success.
  • Proficient in all testing stages, including requirements analysis, test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Experienced in API testing with tools like Postman and RESTAssured to ensure comprehensive coverage of features.
  • Skilled in test management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray) and test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Playwright).
  • Capable of designing test automation frameworks from scratch to meet specific business needs.
  • Knowledgeable in test design for non-functional requirements like performance, security, and accessibility to ensure robustness.
  • Experienced in CI/CD concepts and Scrum/Agile methodologies to facilitate efficient collaboration and delivery.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with various roles and stakeholders to ensure effective teamwork.
