Instrumentation Specialist
We seek a skilled Instrumentation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.
The role involves the operation, maintenance and repair of meteorological/air quality monitoring equipment, laboratory and marine equipment and boat.
- Operation and maintenance of various types of equipment including but not limited to weather vanes, anemometers, wind direction indicators, environmental air sampling systems, and gas detectors
- Maintenance and repair of meteorological and air quality monitoring equipment including electrical and mechanical components
- Testing and calibration of equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Collaboration with other departments to implement new technologies and methodologies
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Environmental Engineering or related field and at least five years of relevant working experience in air quality monitoring, meteorology or air pollution control.
A strong background in operating, maintaining and repairing equipment is essential for this position. In addition, proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
