**Medical Scribe Manager Role Description:**

Our organization seeks an experienced Medical Scribe Coordinator to take on a leadership position. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems, including proficiency in transcription, coding, and documentation.

The successful individual will work collaboratively with healthcare providers to optimize clinical workflows by accurately transcribing visitation notes into patient charts. This role demands strong organizational skills, effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to function efficiently under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe physician dictations into clinical notes within EMR/Billing systems
  • Prepare and assemble medical record documentation/charts for physicians
  • Ensure medical record compliance through self-documentation attestation
  • Update patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in patient charts
  • Prepare and dispatch all documentation to physicians for review and approval
  • Monitor lab results and screening procedures
  • Comply with hospital and medical facility policies, including HIPAA and Joint Commission regulations
  • Perform additional administrative duties and tasks to enhance provider productivity and clinic workflow as assigned
