Automation Engineer

Job Summary:Rigel Networks is seeking an experienced Infra Automation Engineer to join our Greenlake team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for optimizing and automating our infrastructure environments using Ansible.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage Ansible playbooks, roles, modules, and inventory to automate infrastructure tasks.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Linux operating systems and networking concepts.
- Utilize scripting languages like Python and Bash to enhance automation processes.
- Leverage your knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or GreenLake to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure.
- Work with virtualization technologies including VMware or KVM to ensure effective and efficient virtualization solutions.
- Integrate and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to align automation strategies with business goals.
- Proven experience with Ansible, including hands-on experience with playbooks, roles, modules, and inventory management.
- Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and networking principles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, GreenLake).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Previous experience working in an office-based environment in Bangalore.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing and automating infrastructure.
