As part of the group's expansion into cutting-edge technology, we are building India's first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU), and high-performance computing logic.
The facility addresses the growing demand in markets like automotive, computing, and data storage, wireless communications, and artificial intelligence.

Reports to: Project Head
Estimated Salary: ₹1500000 - ₹2500000 per annum
Job Summary:
This role involves overseeing MEP activities, coordinating design and execution of systems on an OSAT construction site. The ideal candidate should have 25 years of experience in managing complex projects, ensuring integration with design teams, leading MEP engineers, and aligning installations with project specifications, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Leadership
- Lead the MEP team in planning, developing, and executing MEP systems to align with project goals and design requirements.
- Ensure seamless coordination between MEP systems and overall building design.
- Serve as key liaison between project management, design teams, and MEP subcontractors.
2. Design Coordination & Review
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and design consultants to ensure MEP designs align with project specifications and industry standards.
- Review and approve MEP drawings and design plans, ensuring compliance with project goals and client requirements.
- Facilitate design workshops and meetings to resolve design conflicts and ensure effective communication.
3. Project Management & Execution
- Lead MEP project management efforts, overseeing scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Ensure MEP installations meet approved plans and specifications while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Monitor project timeline to prevent delays and propose solutions to challenges or roadblocks.
4. Technical Expertise & Problem Solving
- Provide high-level technical guidance to solve complex design and construction challenges.
- Evaluate new technologies and innovations that enhance project outcomes and implement best practices.
- Design MEP systems for energy efficiency and sustainability.
5. Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all MEP designs and installations comply with local, state, and international building codes and safety regulations.
- Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections to maintain workmanship standards.
- Prepare and oversee site inspections, approvals, and testing of MEP systems.
6. Budget & Cost Management
- Develop and manage the MEP budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and alignment with the project budget.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality and functionality.
7. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with project owners, construction managers, and stakeholders to align MEP objectives with project goals.
- Act as primary point of contact for all MEP-related matters and provide status updates to senior management.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to source materials and ensure timely delivery.
8. Team Development & Leadership
- Mentor and guide the MEP engineering team, fostering collaboration and promoting professional growth.
- Conduct training sessions to update team members on industry best practices and safety standards.
- Evaluate team performance and manage resources for efficiency and productivity.
9. Safety Management
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and ensure safe operation of MEP systems.
- Collaborate with site safety officers to identify potential hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure staff are trained in safety practices specific to MEP systems and procedures.
10. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of MEP plans, revisions, installations, and inspections.
- Prepare regular progress reports, documenting milestones, challenges, and resolutions.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation for final project handover and client sign-off.
