Job Title: Software Engineer

 

Job Summary

 

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new features for our products.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality software applications using Ruby on Rails.
  • Maintain and enhance existing features to ensure optimal performance.
  • Test and deploy code to production environments.
  • Create back-end components using Ruby on Rails.
  • Integrate user-facing elements with responsive design.
  • Design user interactions on web pages to provide an exceptional user experience.

 

Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in web-based software development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with Ruby on Rails and ability to write clean Ruby code.
  • Proficiency with code versioning tools like Bitbucket, Git, and Github.
  • Familiarity with MVC and REST architectures.
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, and Bootstrap framework.
  • Familiarity with database technology and SQL programming (we use MySQL).
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools, such as Jira and Scrum.
  • Proficient with Linux distributions like Ubuntu.

 

Additional Preferences:
  • Experience with frameworks like AngularJS, Angular, and React.
  • Experience with web servers like Apache and Nginx.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (we use AWS).
  • Experience in developing and maintaining APIs.
