Cyber Defense Center Job Overview

  • As a Cyber Defense Center professional, you will be responsible for managing all Monitoring and Security Operations Center (SOC) as well as CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team).
  • You will ensure security events of all critical applications are properly collected by SIEM.
  • Your primary goal is to identify and manage security incidents in a timely manner.
  • You will oversee incident response plan and ensure its alignment with business resilience plan, disaster recovery and business impact analysis.
  • Collaboration with the Group Head of Cyber-resilience to support the disaster recovery plan, as well as crisis management is also essential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collect detailed, actionable threat information for preventing and fighting cybersecurity threats targeting an organization.
  • You must ensure performance of proper threat monitoring to identify threat impacting the organization and ensure proper communication to impacted teams.
  • A crucial part of this role is to ensure vulnerabilities are identified, monitored and perform remediation follow-up. Also, efficiency of the security scanning and code reviews of applications must be ensured.
  • Providing security services to enhance the protection of brand in the digital space is a key responsibility.
  • Offering ethical hacker and red teaming capabilities for the whole group is also necessary.
  • Guidance's regarding Penetration testing and red teaming activities must be provided.
  • All ethical hacking activities at Group level must be followed up.

About the Role:

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate should have experience in managing SOC and CSIRT teams, as well as knowledge of SIEM systems and vulnerability management.

The ideal candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Strong leadership and teamwork skills are also essential.
