**Role Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineering leader to drive the development of cutting-edge applications. This pivotal role plays a key part in shaping the technology strategy at The Glove, supporting our global investment operations.

As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions while mentoring junior team members and ensuring adherence to best practices.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of software solutions using React and Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of applications through rigorous testing and optimization.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Contribute to the development of coding standards, documentation, and best practices.

**Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7-12 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on React and Python.
  • Proven track record of leading software development projects and delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
