Our Investment Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our investment team as a Senior Investment Operations Specialist. This role will be based in Gurgaon and will involve working closely with our Client Team, specifically within the Alternative investment function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Alternative Funds Operations team with cash accounts reconciliations for various private equity fund of funds and hedge fund of funds.
  • Assess LOC needs and update LOC activity in Investran, a portfolio management system.
  • Reconcile cash activities and accounting records of various alternative funds.
  • Update Investran with investors and investments activities.
  • Maintain tax and audit trackers.
  • Support the Alternative Funds Operations team with audits and tax filings for various alternative funds.
  • Compile materials for marketing requests.
  • Process invoice payments for various alternative funds.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and portfolio managers regarding onboarding activities and manage client cash flow activities, including private equity capital calls/distributions, and execute mutual fund trades.
  • Analyse ongoing cash needs for monthly, quarterly, or annual draws for investors.
  • Communicate with investment managers and custodians to facilitate client investment activities, including fielding questions regarding custodians and processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, management, or a similar field.
  • Exposure to Global Capital Markets and working knowledge of Private Equity world.
