Project Director - Real Estate Developments

The Project Director oversees and manages all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery for large-scale real estate developments. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale construction projects from concept to handover.
  • Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely completion.
  • Oversee site progress and ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, legal norms, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, engineering teams, and external consultants to ensure seamless execution.
  • Provide guidance and direction to project managers, site engineers, and contractors to enhance performance and resolve challenges.
  • Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively manage issues to minimize project disruptions.
  • Liaise with government authorities for timely approvals, permits, clearances, and ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with clients, vendors, internal teams, and statutory bodies.
  • Analyze project reports, financials, and KPIs; prepare regular progress updates and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Drive adoption of modern construction technologies, sustainability initiatives, and energy-efficient practices.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement to achieve excellence in project delivery.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. (Master's degree / PMP certification is a plus)
  • Minimum 25 years of relevant experience in real estate/construction project management
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, high-value projects
  • Expertise in project planning, construction management, and budgeting
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
