We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-native data engineering, with expertise in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines.

  • Design and implement robust, secure, and efficient data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and other relevant tools.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Implement Change Data Capture (CDC), streaming pipelines, and batch ingestion using Azure Event Hub, Azure Functions, and other relevant services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of data cataloguing, profiling, and classification tools.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of data architecture patterns, including Lakehouse, Medallion, and Delta Architecture. Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or AWS Glue is also desirable.

In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills. A proactive attitude towards learning and adopting emerging technologies in data & AI is essential.

Key qualifications include:

  • 4+ years in data engineering with at least 2+ years on Azure cloud platform.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Gen2, Databricks, Synapse, Purview, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, PySpark, Python, and data orchestration tools.
  • Familiarity with data observability, lineage, cataloguing, data quality, and other related concepts.
