Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Validation Lead to oversee our validation efforts and ensure the quality and reliability of our products throughout the development lifecycle.

About the Role

This key member of the quality assurance team will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive validation strategies and processes to meet regulatory standards and industry best practices. As a Validation Lead, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define validation requirements and priorities, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.

  • Develop and implement effective validation strategies and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define validation requirements and priorities.
  • Establish and oversee the execution of validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ, software validation, and process validation.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies to address potential product risks related to validation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance validation processes and increase efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors as needed for validation testing services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and traceability of validation activities.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on validation activities to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6-12 years of experience in validation, quality assurance, or a related field.
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing effective validation strategies and processes.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential product risks.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements.
  • Experience with managing external vendors and contractors, with a focus on timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of validation analysts.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
